About President Anne Prisco

Anne Prisco, Ph.D., became the sixth president of Âé¶¹Íø in July 2021. A first-generation college graduate and nationally recognized higher education leader, she is committed to expanding opportunity, advancing student success, and strengthening Âé¶¹Íø Family's holistic education.

Since becoming president, Dr. Prisco has led significant growth across the University, including new academic programs, expanded employer partnerships, increased research activity, and major improvements to campus facilities and learning spaces. These efforts have supported record enrollment growth and strengthened Âé¶¹Íø Family’s ability to provide students with a high-quality education that prepares them for meaningful careers and lives of purpose. 

Under her leadership, Âé¶¹Íø Family has earned national recognition for its commitment to economic mobility, including designation as an Opportunity College and University by the Carnegie Classifications, recognizing institutions that provide both broad access and strong post-graduation outcomes.

Before joining Âé¶¹Íø Family, Dr. Prisco served as president of Felician University and held leadership, faculty, and research positions at several distinguished institutions, including Loyola Marymount University, St. John's University, Hunter College, Lehman College, and New York University.

Dr. Prisco serves on the boards of national higher education organizations and civic institutions, reflecting her commitment to advancing educational opportunity and strengthening communities.

She holds degrees from Columbia University, Fordham University, and the University of Arizona.
