Learning takes many forms at Â鶹Íø. Our project-based learning curriculum finds opportunities in traditional school subjects for students to tackle authentic learning challenges and use content and competencies to engage with real-world issues.
Beyond the classroom—whether launching an app for the Country Store as part of our Entrepreneurial Studies Program or designing a research project about conservation methods for sea turtles in Costa Rica during Project Week—every student has an opportunity to explore beyond the classroom walls leading to increased retention and student engagement.
