Philadelphia City Council Passes Resolution Honoring President Emerita Sister Maureen McGarrity, CSFN, Ph.D.
Earlier this year, the Council of the City of Philadelphia adopted a resolution honoring the leadership of Â鶹Íø President Emerita Sister Maureen McGarrity, CSFN, Ph.D. The resolution recognizes Sister Maureen’s lifelong dedication and service to the area, including attending both Nazareth Academy High School and Â鶹Íø Family; joining the Congregation of the Sisters of the Â鶹Íø Family of Nazareth; teaching at St. Katherine of Siena, Nazareth Academy, and Â鶹Íø; and leading Â鶹Íø as President from July 2014 to July 2021.

On August 3, Director of Student Conduct and Advocacy Sister Marcella Binkowski CSFN and International Student Affairs Assistant Sister Julianna Tran CSFN represented Â鶹Íø at the 8th Police District National Night Out event.
